Smells of Liberation
Wafting in Air
Unconquerable Apparitions
Shades of Terror
Train loads of mill workers
Valley of Sin
“Tierra y Libertad!”
The stink of our skin
Righteous distortion
Cosmos Aligned
Shapeless Putridity
Wrinkle in Time
Desperate peons swell
Lead us away
Nine years of life
Warbles and fades
By all the tyrants‘ crimes
Beneath the sun
A life Paid for with blood and bone
Ashes scattered and scalps in tow
Midnight is come
As dark as the bottomless gloom
Cemetery robbins chirp to the moon
A garish life set along the path
Once walked in shame
Little more than exploited muscle
Snared by tragedy
The land for the people
Movements betrayed
Peasants laid down their arms
Led to their graves
Day returns with sol unmoved
All that’s left for me and you
Is a final taste of dirt and our
Marrow left to ooze
Unmarked graves below your feet
Ashen ghosts of the sunken heap
Century after century, awoken again
By the pampered fold of creation

Hands down one of the most unique black metal albums ever. But honestly, calling it just "black metal" is a disservice to this piece of art. The seamless mixture of black metal with Brazilian folk and even some ambient and psychedelic bits is second to none. One of the best all around metal experiences you can ever hope to have. Ryan

From the same mastermind behind Kaatayra and Bríi comes Vauruvã, an atmospheric black metal project in similar folksome fashion, just a lot of more aggressive. I am a fan of the style of music this guys puts out. 7/10 RJ
