Crooked steps
Lined out before me
Decrepit road
Along nameless seas
There they rest
A hollow tomb
Surrounds me
Peculiar portraits frozen in time
A life completely wasted
On promises foretold
Back when you were
a stinking corpse in snow
The indignity within we swim
False dawn of future hope
Exploited til the bitter end
Power lies in struggle
Bosses whip and wobble
When the masses rise
Demanding a new deal
While the toiler waits
the vulture dies
Barrels of ink splash around
The margins of a hive
Down set but smarter still
Language of new nations
Rank and files unearthed
Smashing unearned
Capital Accumulation
In a dark hour
Tasting the earth
Inhaling moss
Transmute the revolution
Take a glimpse of forgotten dreams
Rekindling the fire, so close beneath
Ancient modes of existence
Once trapped by crooked kings
The serfs have put a hex on thee
Defenestrated once more
On bended knee
Aghast! The spire!
It beckons to me
The end of exploitation
And scarcity
Is what awaits
On the sacred tree
And the moans of
Forsaken seas
I will eat of this to its last shred

Hands down one of the most unique black metal albums ever. But honestly, calling it just "black metal" is a disservice to this piece of art. The seamless mixture of black metal with Brazilian folk and even some ambient and psychedelic bits is second to none. One of the best all around metal experiences you can ever hope to have. Ryan

From the same mastermind behind Kaatayra and Bríi comes Vauruvã, an atmospheric black metal project in similar folksome fashion, just a lot of more aggressive. I am a fan of the style of music this guys puts out. 7/10 RJ
