Widespread hysteria
Again
Riots and bloodshed on the streets
Strikebreakers, bourgeois goon squads
Again
The bosses hitmen cannot be sated
Revenge
Twelve Policemen Dead or Dying
Anarchy's Red Hand.
Seven sentenced, six brothers murdered on these steps.
The toilers of the world will not soon forget.
Revenge
The blood gives me hope
Show trial
8 anarchists sentenced to death
Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number,
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you–
Ye are many–they are few.
All comers shaking from their wandering feet
Release the dust of old world bondage
No tyrannies of fraud, force nor fret,
The world’s debts left unmet
The bitter bread of discontent

Thank Goddess for this wondrous album, which I should have picked up aeons ago. The otherworldly atmosphere this trio weaves is utterly intoxicating and wholly (holy) their own.
Sincerest thanks for putting this and Feminazgul’s other albums in the feed today @Sælzer Bub; your timing was impeccable! MJ

The mix of raw, brutal rage with beautiful melodies reminds me of fellow Native black metaler Ifernach, but obviously Ushangvagush is very much its own wonderfully twisted creature. Across the ravaged landscape a bleak wind blows, roaring with the voice of the place’s violated Manidou. He is coming for the leech-rot-larval-white settlers with heavy red fists, blazing yellow cat-eyes, and antlers made from the bones of those unjustly slaughtered. He is coming and his vengeance will not be denied. Dave Aftandilian
