ROTTING it lay beneath turbulent sky
A fecund carrion thrusting to air
Its powerful benediction.
Everywhere a cloudless bream
Joyfully strengthened, begin to rise;
Shifting sands within due time
countless crawling things in swarm
Called by death that feeds and fortifies.
So, laughing to the world he came:
Death
Transformed, quickened by strife.
dark disguise could not conceal the flame;
behind his ineffectual mask,
Sparkled fresh and conquering eyes of Life.
TERROR you bring into this room ;
Creeping timbers reek of gloom
There is no youth within your eyes, a fresco of craven lies
And though cheeks still bravely bloom
You’re in league with death and doom;
Came with laughter bright,
Wine and flowers of the night
Jest upon your tongue,
The merriment of your song,
You stifle us, who have not sung,
And when you dance with ease and grace
There is a look upon your face
That leaves us shaken and unstrung.
The words you say are fine and sweet,
And every step you take is sure,
And seemingly you shall endure
When we are dust within the deep.
You walk erect while still we creep.
No blunders mar your perfect parts—
Master you are of human hearts,
And yet with evilness replete.
The hammer of time bends and sways
The steel of life, it’s unending
A sleeping giant, locked beneath
Shifting sands of autocracy
But there on the summit
Reddish suns begin to swell
Arise for the struggle!
The time for peace, too long to tell
Break the sorcery of modern times
Fight alienation with your mind
Emancipate the new slaves
Obliterate our scarcity
The tools are staring you in the face
But they won’t wait, or hesitate
Break the chains of property

Hands down one of the most unique black metal albums ever. But honestly, calling it just "black metal" is a disservice to this piece of art. The seamless mixture of black metal with Brazilian folk and even some ambient and psychedelic bits is second to none. One of the best all around metal experiences you can ever hope to have. Ryan

From the same mastermind behind Kaatayra and Bríi comes Vauruvã, an atmospheric black metal project in similar folksome fashion, just a lot of more aggressive. I am a fan of the style of music this guys puts out. 7/10 RJ
